Our Approach
Science-based. Every recommendation is grounded in extraction science. The Extraction Compass is built on the principles of the Coffee Brewing Control Chart, the relationship between extraction yield and total dissolved solids that determines whether coffee tastes balanced, sour, or bitter.
Expert recipes. Our brew recipes come directly from published techniques by World Brewers Cup champions and respected coffee educators. We credit every recipe to its creator.
Free and private. No ads, no paywalls, no account required. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) with no cookies and no personal data collection. Your brewing data stays on your device.
Community-driven. Built by coffee enthusiasts, for coffee enthusiasts. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
